The functionality for requesting a review of associated documents ensures that all documents impacted by a main document are evaluated when it undergoes relevant changes. For this to happen, these documents must be associated.

This allows related documents to always be kept up-to-date, preventing discrepancies in content or guidelines between connected documents.

The system will request a review of associated documents in three situations:

  • When a document is deactivated;

  • When a document is reactivated;

  • When a document is published after undergoing a new elaboration or revision.

To ensure that associated documents also undergo review when the main document is published, check the option "When publishing, request a review of the associated documents."

After the document is deactivated, reactivated, or published, a review pending task will be automatically generated for the associated documents.

This pending task will be available in the Request tab, within the Tasks tab.

Upon clicking the pending task, the responsible user can view the reason for the request and will have the following options:

  • Edit register of the document to make changes.

  • Accept revision request and continue the review workflow.

  • Reject revision request, if the content is still valid.

  • Transfer review decision to another user.

With these functionalities, the system ensures greater control and updating of related documents whenever there are changes to the main document.
