The Documents module allows for the control of distributed physical copies through the printing of controlled copies. To print a controlled copy, follow the steps below:


In the system menu, locate and click the Search option:



On the search screen, locate and click the document you wish to print a controlled copy of. If necessary, you can use the filters to refine your search:



Upon opening the desired document, click the print button in the upper right corner and select the Controlled Copy option:



On the controlled copy printing screen, fill in the control information: Distribution Point, Distribution Point Responsible, and Quantity of copies, and then click the Print button to print the document:



When printing the copy, the file will be downloaded as a PDF. You can open it from your browser's download bar or from your computer's Downloads folder.



On the side of the file, the system will identify it as a controlled copy and display some copy information, as in the example:



After opening the file, simply print it using the printer installed on your computer.


If your user role allows the deletion of a controlled copy, simply search for the document. In the document's information, locate the "Distributed copies" field. Upon accessing it, you will find the icon to delete the controlled copy.
